Notebook computers can be carried aroundbutthe same thing cannot be said about textbooks. Textbooks are composed of many pages, so the weight of them is heavy, while notebook computers can store a high number of books without changing any weight. Notebook computers offer search function and all the information are indexed, allowing users to findimportant information without manual process of searching for specific content.

 

Notebook computers allow users to jot notes that are removable or editable, and each time users can reverse back to a fresh copy of the same text, whereas traditional notebooks cannot record digital data that can be easily added to or opted out.

 

The synchronization function in notebook computers allow information stored in one digital device to be transferred to other electronic devices automatically, so that students can access the information even though the tablets might not be physically available, as smart phones and other things like Kindle can also be used to assess the information when there is Internet.

 

Multimedia information such as videos, 3d models and audio soundtracks cannot be easily incorporated into the organization of books; but notebook computers can store and play those multimedia information or digital files of different formats.
